Do you have a common language?

One of the hardest things for middle managers is managing their teams.
Most were promoted for their skills and knowledge in their area of expertise with little training or preparation for managing teams or humans.
One of the easiest ways to ensure they succeed is giving them a common language.
A common language to talk to their teams.
A common language to talk to their peers.
A common language to talk to their managers.

Our approach for doing this is using the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) to provide the individual, managers and teams a profile of themselves and a collective one of their teams.
It helps them to understand more about themselves, their teams and their managers.
It gives them a common language to talk to their teams and guides them with how they should approach every person.
HBDI highlights an individual's thinking preference and where it moves to when they are under stress or pressure. It can be mapped out for teams and across the whole company. Providing everyone with an understand of why people think (and at times react) the way they do.
Helping facilitate that common language for all.
In the past, previous clients teams would sit around after work and discuss their own HBDI profile, how it compares to others and how they do/don't work well together.
It's a great way to foster connection, especially that human connection we're all craving right now.
With Humans can help you profile your individuals, your teams and your company to give you that common language to facilitate connections.
